 THE INSPIRA
PATHWAYS

PURPOSE

The purpose of the InSpira Pathways is for dancers and their families to establish early the pathway they would like to go on commitment-wise, allowing those who want to explore many new things, including those who strictly want to dance and grow in the art. It is made clear that they can move between the pathways depending on how life is, as we understand situations happen. However, unless they are an academy student, they are committing to the season and its requirements under the division and pathway.

The InSpira Training Pathways are designed to provide a comprehensive and structured dance education that meets the diverse needs and aspirations of students at different stages of their dance journey. The pathways aim to:

  • Foster a Love for Dance: Cultivate an early interest and joy in dance for beginners, creating a supportive environment where students can explore and develop their initial curiosity about dance.

  • Promote Technical and Artistic Growth: Provide intermediate dancers with the tools and opportunities to enhance their technical skills and creative expression, helping them deepen their understanding and appreciation of various dance forms.

  • Prepare for Professional Excellence: Offer advanced dancers rigorous advanced enrichment training that balances technical mastery with artistic development, leadership, and community engagement. This prepares them for potential careers in dance and related fields

Overall, the InSpira Training Pathways are dedicated to nurturing each student's unique potential, ensuring they receive the appropriate level of instruction, support, and challenge to achieve their personal and professional dance goals. FOR A
Little InSpriations DANCER
(Ages 2.5-6)

The Little InSpirations Program is designed to introduce our youngest dancers, aged 2.5 to 6 years old, to the world of dance in a structured yet flexible environment. Within this program, the different training pathways emphasize foundational movements and rhythm, allowing young dancers to explore various styles while gradually increasing their commitment and advancing their skills.

Pathway Structure:

Disciplines Offered: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop

  • Commitment Options:

    • EMERGE: Once a week (one class)

    • ENHANCE: Twice a week (two classes)

    • ELITE: Three to four times a week (multiple classes)

Key Features:

  • Class Variety: To ensure a well-rounded introduction, our youngest dancers will not take more than 3-4 disciplines in total, unless if they are part of the Academy in which they would take 5.

  • Exploration and Adaptation: This setup allows young dancers to discover their interests and adapt to the hours required for dance classes.

  • Foundation Building: By starting with foundational classes, they can solidify their preferences and skills, preparing them for the more rigorous InSpira Experience Program.

Commitment and Progression:

  • The goal is to help young dancers get accustomed to the discipline and structure of dance classes, with the flexibility to explore different styles.

  • As they progress, they can transition smoothly into the InSpira Experience Program with a clear understanding of their preferred dance styles.

FOR A
InSpira EXPierence DANCER
(Ages 2.5-6)

The InSpira Experience Program is designed for dancers aged 7-18, offering a comprehensive and structured dance education that emphasizes performance, technique, leadership, and community engagement.

Pathway Structure:
Disciplines Offered: Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop (among others)

  • Commitment Levels

    • EMERGE: 1-2 disciplines and 1-2 classes per week in each chosen discipline

    • ENHANCE: 2-3 disciplines and 5-8 classes per week across multiple disciplines

    • ELITE: 3-5 disciplines and 8-10 classes per week across multiple disciplines

Key Features:

  • Rigor and Development: The InSpira Experience program is rigorous, providing significant development and enrichment opportunities across all pathways. The Enhance and Elite pathways, in particular, are designed to enhance both performance and technique, evident through their specific requirements.

  • Holistic Growth: Our pathways also incorporate leadership and community service elements, ensuring that dancers develop essential life skills alongside their dance training.

  • Level Requirements: Each discipline level has specific requirements that must be met to progress. For instance, students on the Elite pathway may need to take additional technique classes.

Overlapping Requirements:

  • Efficient Training: To avoid redundancy, overlapping requirements allow students to fulfill multiple criteria with a single class. For example, if a dancer on the Elite pathway is taking both Ballet and Jazz, and both require a Ballet Technique course, the student only needs to take one Ballet Technique class to satisfy both requirements.
